Swiss Chard

Swiss Chard is leafy green vegetable (in our case...rainbow colored). It is very detoxifying for the liver and rich in minerals. This is a great green to use in lettuce wraps or stir fry. The stems are edible and very tasty. They do take a little bit longer to cook, so if you're sauteing the greens, cut the stems up and cook those for 3-5 minutes before adding the greens. 

How To Store

Store in a produce bag in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator. It will stay crisp for about 3 days. It will be edible for 7 days but will limp over time. If you're looking to eat it raw as in a lettuce wrap, eat immediately. If you are going to cook it, it will be fine to eat if it has lost its vigor.
